Once you try this way of eating sprouts, we doubt you will ever eat them differently again!

method

  1. Remove the woody root from the bottom of your sprouts then using a sharp knife make an X on said root and blanch in boiling water for 6/7 minutes until just tender remove and shock under cold running water

  2. Cut the sprouts in half and put into a frying pan, cut side down, on a medium high heat and add your butter, cook until golden

  3. in a separate frying pan lay the bacon down and fry both sides until golden and crispy, remove, cool and chop into lardons, add to the sprouts and serve
