I love this recipe, its so easy, everyone will love it too, goes perfect with a fruit tart or even just a bowl of fresh raspberries
method
First split your vanilla pod and scrape out the lovely seeds inside and pop into a pan, in the same pan chuck in your water and sugar and bring to the boil
Once boiled, remove from the heat and add your fromage frais whisking it in as not to split
Allow to cool a little then pop into an ice cream machine and leave to churn, this should take about 45 minutes, if you don't have an ice cream machine you can pop your mix in the freezer but make sure you occasionally take a fork to it before it freezes solid, this will keep the mix aerated
