Saliha Mahmood-Ahmed Crowned MasterChef Champion in Emotional Final
By Matthew Healy
The 28-year-old amateur chef has been cooking from a very young age but has made her career in the medical profession. During the final she was quoted as saying that the BBC show was “one of the toughest things she’s ever done”
Over the course of the series, where 64 amateur cooks battle it out to become MasterChef Champion, Saliha was praised for her incredibly tasty food and unusual flavour combinations and also her flair when it came to presentation so it was no shock to see her in the final 3.
Her final 3 dishes saw John Torode and Greg Wallace run out of superlatives but not before Greg managed a “how extraordinary” at Saliha’s impressive dessert. She couldn’t contain her excitement when she was crowned Champion pipping Steve Kielty and Giovanna Ryan to the post.
The Doctor Then Proclaimed “I am not a cool person at all, my husband will vouch it” Before adding “This is definitely the coolest thing I have ever done in my life”
